Red Pepper Hummus

Red Pepper Hummus

LOVE THIS!! It has become my favorite hummus to make. I only add 3 Tbs of lemon juice tho, 1/3 cup is too much & it over powers the pepper. I, too, roast the red pepper myself on the stove & I drain the liquid, reserving it to add at the end for the consistancy I want. — cajuntoast 8/6/2013
Black Bean Hummus

Black Bean Hummus

Yummy!! I left out the oil as I do t like my hummus too oily & I just reserve the liquid & add it to get the consistency I like. Huge hit & my co-workers always ask me to bring this for parties! 8/6/2013
Black Bean Hummus

Black Bean Hummus

Very yummy alternative to traditional hummus. I added the she can of black beans, liquid and all, and it was a bit too runny for me, and that was without the oil! Next time I'll reserve the liquid & just add until it is the co sistancy I like. But tummy none the less!!! 4/2/2012

MzMitzy~I freeze them b4 dipping and it makes them easier to keep them from falling off the toothpick and also to help the chocolate harden faster. did you try using a plastic fork with the two center tines removed? drop the ball into chocolate and then use the fork to lift it out and set on wax paper to cool. Good luck. Glad you liked it!
