What's for dinner?
I'm a mother of two children (one girl and one boy) who are very active in sports. I love to cook, but find it hard to prepare meals with the kids practice schedules. This leads to a lot of crock pot cooking and quick and easy recipes. I work part time in the A/R department of a country club. My husband loves it when I cook some "stick to your ribs" meat and homemade bread. He is definitely a meat and potatoes guy. DD and I both try to watch our fat and calorie count and try to eat very healthy by getting a good balance of protein, carbs, fat, and fiber. I love to exercise and try to work out 5 or 6 days per week for about 1 hour at a time.
Recipes I've Posted (all 5)
My absolute favorite food to make is homemade bread. There is nothing like working the dough and then the wonderful aroma of the bread baking. I like to utilize my bread machine to mix the dough for rolls, or use it on a timer feature to have homemade bread when I return from work.
I love anything with chocolate and peanut butter involved. I think those are my two favorite foods!
I love to fix chicken because it is so versatile, healthy, and inexpensive. I probably fix chicken 4 nights per week.
