Cooking is relaxing me and really enjoy it. Love trying new dishes and save them in my own recipe book :) My food is eastern european and also caribbean, as I moved in Belize, on a tropical island :) I live my dream and I'm always happy..

Gambas al Ajillo - Garlic Shrimp

Now, this is A-MA-ZING!! I wasn't sure about so much garlic, but oh! You just feel the savour of it. I skip the spicy ingredient, and replaced with Recado Powder for a nice look. At the end I add 2 TBS butter and let it melt on shrimps. Was amazing! Served with white rice and plantain. This is already in my favourite! Thank you so so much!!!

I was really looking forward for this recipe, but something went really wrong. - First of all, THE TIME of this is NOT moments.... eventually moments that become HOURS. You need to let the dough rise for 1-1,5 hours and than is a lot of work to shape each pita bread and cook it (5 mintues/each, 16 pieces, make the math). I stayed in the kitchen until 12 am... really frustrated. - Second, I don't know what I did wrong, but my pita bread was really hard.. like a bisquite. And I tried all kind of tecniques, was still hard. Maybe I did something wrong, I don't know, but honest to be, I really don't look forward to try this again. Eventually, if someone is telling me why my bread was so hard... I'm sorry for my negative review, but I hope to avoid for other people to have my experience.

Unfortunately, I did this in a glass pan and the cake stick on the bottom of the tray. The entire cake was a mess... Good taste, but the way looked... not happy at all. I'm not sure if I'll do it again. maybe as an individual in small dishes. The entire cake is falling apart. Not sure the reason.

My husband told me "I don't know what you did, but this is the BEST pizza you EVER did". Was the sauce. On top of dough I add The sauce (plenty of it), mozarella cheese, tomatoes, black olives, mushrooms, one more light layer of cheese, and a sprinkle of olive oil on everything. 15 minutes in oven, high heat. A new family favourite!

I loved the way was written and explained everything. My husband told me "this is a 5* food and I should eat in a suit. I feel like in a fancy restaurant..." I was not thrilled with the taste, as I like more sweet food, but I have to admit that was different and good. I will make this again for my husband.
