Pineapple Chicken Stir-fryThis turned out good, I threw in a handful of peanuts with the pineapple and sauce at the end. In the sauce the tomato taste is a bit strong, I might add a tsp rather than a tbsp of ketchup next time....

Hummingbird CakeI was really pleased with the TEXTURE of this cake, and the icing with rum added is just delicious. However, I agree with other reviews that the bananas really take over the flavor of this cake and you can't taste the pineapple at all. And I have banana bread recipes that are much more flavorful than this one (even if some of the moist texture is sacrificed). Anyway, I would still make this one again!

Spicy Maple Broiled SalmonVery good, thumbs up! I left the ginger in the sauce instead of straining it (I love ginger).

Chocolate Lovers' TartThis turned out great. I used pastry flour instead of all-purpose flour, and as a result the crust mix didn't turn out "sandy"-- I had to add a couple of tablespoons of cold water to firm it up. The unsweetened chocolate filling is really great, and the hazelnut flavor in the crust really comes through. On the side I served small pools of raspberry coulis and crème anglaise.
