Homemade Peanut Butter

Homemade Peanut Butter

I used Dry Roasted Peanuts for ease of preperation as well as speed of recipe. It takes more time to clean up the processor than make the butter. I have also tried and added a touch of honey for a variation. Cashews can also be used. I really guess that most any nut that you like could be used. [I posted this recipe.]

Crescent Chicken

Crescent Chicken

I didn't have any peas and carrots, so I substituted green beans and corn. I also used canned chicken which I added 1/4 cup chopped onion and used fresh ground black pepper before rolling up. This recipe is easy to half for two people.

Working with Sourdough does take time, but it is well worth the effort. Besides most of the work is done at night while you sleep.

Banana Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Banana Sour Cream Coffee Cake

This is a very dense and moist cake. It did not crumb very much. It was very easy to make. A very good use of ripe bananas. I would serve this at a brunch. I would also just use as an unfrosted snack cake. Next time I make it, I will try and use some Splenda instead of sugar.

Mee Maw's Barbecue Chicken Sauce

Mee Maw's Barbecue Chicken Sauce

It sure looked like a small amount, however, when I divided the sauce, there was plenty left for heating and serving on the chicken. I will definately make this again.
