Butter-crunch Baked ScallopsVery easy recipe that doesn't overwhelm the mild scallop taste. I used garlic powder but left out the minced garlic. I would definitely make this again.

Gemutlichkeit (German Noodle Bake)It can tend to be runny if you do not drain the noodles thoroughly, if you use the thinner fat-free versions of cottage cheese or sour cream, or if you do not cook it for the full hour, if you skip the standing time after cooking. We find that green peas go well with this dish. [I posted this recipe.]

Grilled SalmonExcellent grilled salmon. Next time I think I will cut back a bit on the oil and up the lemon juice. I think it is crucial to use fresh herbs--that really makes a difference.

Portobello "philly Cheese Steak" SandwichGreat recipe, easy to make. I found that the cheese melted fine when put on after putting the mixture in the bun (this is also good served open faced), and that made it easier to get it out of the pan. I may use Worcestershire instead of soy sauce next time.
