I live in Pennsylvania. I recently moved here from Arizona. I went from working 40+ hours per week to being a housewife that works from home 5-10 a week. In my new role I spend a good amount of time planning meals. When I'm not taking care of my puppies and cat you will find me out and about with friends enjoying meals together or shopping.
My husband and I love to vacation and explore the area. I very much enjoy my family and spending time together.
My favorite food are any and all fresh fruit and vegatables. I love making great salads with homemade dressing and yummy soups. I love the colder weather since it give me an excuse to make soup a few times a week. My best memories are the kind made on special holidays. To me, holidays spent with family and friends make life worth living. My favorite time to the year is from Thanksgiving to New Years. I prepare these holiday meals with everyones favorites. I start first thing in the morning and by the time I sit down to eat I am totally spent. My family has started a new tradition where we all make our favorites and bring the to the chosen location and feast. Easter is the time when I make cheese bread. My mom, aunt and grandmother would split a wheel of chees, grate it by hand and each make around 22 loaves (each) of the most amazing bread you ever tasted. I choose to make 7 loaves and use my food process to grate the cheese in seconds. (yea)..

Carey's Rich & Creamy New England Clam ChowderMade this for Christmas Eve. Everyone raved! I felt there were 3 things, as far as instruction that were missing 1. Do you use the bacon in the soup? 2. When do you add the clams? 3. If adding white wine, how much? I used my own judgement with respect to missing instruction and it turned out wonderful!
