Recipes I've Posted (all 122)
I love to cook, I hate to bake. But I will bake if it's a birthday/holiday. I just don't like the process as much.
I tend to throw stuff at the pan and hope it tastes good. I succeed most of the time. I love meals that don't require much clean up. one dish skillets are my usual go-to.

Spaghetti Carbonarawe like this dish a lot. the wine makes it seem more elegant than it really is chock full o' bacon!

Balsamic ShrimpI got this recipe from my dad, I've no idea where he got it from but I had to have it when my daughter raved about pop-pop's balsamic shrimp.

Warming Cream of Spinach SoupDarned good! I found it needed a lot of salt --must be why "season to taste," and "season again" are part of the instructions. I am going to try some of the other suggestions next time, particularly the fresh spinach.

ShipwreckI always seem to burn this. not sure if it's my crock pot or if it needs more liquid. I use the slow cooker bags so there's no clean up. The taste is still great if you like stick-to-your-ribs comfort food.

asparagus soupSo good. I love this recipe.

Benihana Hibachi Chicken and Hibachi SteakWOW. I made this with sirloin. minus the bean sprouts. I served it with short grain rice and some of that lovely "japanese steakhouse" sauce (which really just amounts to ketchup and mayo). I couldn't make this any better if I tried.

Ginger Lemon Shrimpone of my favorite one shrimp pastas.

Chicken Carbonaradidn't have a bell pepper... used cooked chicken left-over from a slow cooker meal earlier in the week. deglazed the pan with a little white wine between the meats and the sauce. pretty tastey. :)
