Lemon Sunday Pound Cake

Lemon Sunday Pound Cake

I used cake flour instead of regular all purpose flour and cooked in a bundt pan and the cake turned out AMAZINGLY!!! Next time I will use more fresh lemon juice for the cake because it wasn't lemony enough for my taste. I also wasn't crazy about the syrup. It was too tart. Not sweet enough. However, I will definitely make this again! Yummy!!!

Italian Stuffed Peppers

Italian Stuffed Peppers

We don't eat pork so I used ground beef instead. Peppers were too soft after boiling them. Next time I will just put them straight into the oven. I wasn't happy with my soggy peppers but my husband loved it and ate ALL of them!

Chewy Sugar Cookies

I don't like sugar cookies but I made these for the kids. I used brown sugar and white sugar. Easy recipe and I will make these again.

Popeye's Biscuits

This recipe never turns out right for me. I've tried it twice. Dough is always too sticky. Two cups of flour is never enough for me.

BJ's Chicken Marsala

BJ's Chicken Marsala

About 20 min to make! I added onions to the portabello mushrooms. I also added chicken broth and a tablespoon of flour to the wine and mushroom mixture and let simmer. My family of four devoured it!

Italian Stuffed Peppers

Italian Stuffed Peppers

do not cook peppers for 10 min. Peppers become soggy. I would also add a little tomato sauce.
