Polish Apple CrepesI wasn't to sure about buckwheat, then there was this really long list of ingredients, but Oh ... My ... Gosh! ... This was fantastic! The crepes were rich and had a slightly nutty flavor, the apple filling was fabulous, the perfect complement to the crepes and the mascarpone topping was to die for!!! I'll be using this topping for many more recipes. There is just so much deliciousness going on in this dish, I thought my taste buds were going to explode!

Good Eats Roast TurkeyFor Thanksgiving this year we prepared three different turkeys. Our traditional stuffed roast turkey, a smoked turkey and for the first time we brined a turkey using this recipe (I'm a huge Alton Brown fan). I followed the directions exactly and the results were INCREDIBLE! The turkey was beautiful and perfectly cooked. The skin was crunchy and aromatic, the moistness of the meat was unbelievable, and the flavors were subtle and balanced. Even the leftovers remained moist and savory. The only issue I had was when some of the juices started smoking while cooking at 500°. That made me a little nervous but once that 30 minutes was up there were no more issues! Thanks for posting this excellent recipe and for making our Thanksgiving yummy!

Homemade Hot Fudge SauceAbsolutely fantastic! This recipe was very simple and couldn't be easier to make. The sauce had that thick, fudgy consistency that a good hot fudge sauce is supposed to have, had loads of intense chocolaty flavor and went extremely well with our homemade sundaes and banana splits. It was a big hit with my family and beats store bought sauce hands down!

Chocolate Pecan TorteI made two of these tortes for Thanksgiving, one plain and one with the ganache and pecan topping. Both were absolutely fabulous and made an excellent (albeit rich) ending to our holiday dinner. I followed recipe exactly using cognac and a mixture of bittersweet and semisweet chocolate. While it took a little bit of time and effort to make, it was really quite easy and the tortes turned out perfect. I served them with whipped cream and a raspberry sauce (made from frozen raspberries and more cognac) on the side. My guests LOVED the tortes! And I did too.
