What's for dinner?
Rotisserie Chicken (Grill)

I live in beautiful south western Ontario close to Georgian Bay and Lake Huron.  Gardening, especially herbs is one of my favourite summer past times and cooking is always a favourite past time.  There's nothing like cutting fresh herbs out of your garden as you are preparing a meal!  I Love to walk with my dogs, I sketch with pencil and charcoal and I also Love to read.  We took a cruise to Italy, Greece and Turkey last year and OMG ... the food we were able to try out ... simply delicious ... and the wine too!!

Recipes I've Posted (all 3)

Some of the comfort foods that have memories for me that I Love to make are Spaghetti Sauces, Pate Chinois, Coq Au Vin, Ragout at Christmas time and of course Tortiere.  I like to try new recipes and different international recipes ... I even will make a new dish for the fist time when we're having company!!  My husband thinks it's a very brave thing to do!!

Stuffed Pepper Cups

Stuffed Pepper Cups

Absolutely perfect! I've made Stuffed Peppers from other recipes and this one is my favourite! I did add 2 cloves of finely chopped garlic to the meat mixture and 1 Cup Tomato Juice instead of water. Did not boil the Peppers as we like a little crunch to them and used tri-colours for the Peppers. Very Yummy!

Potato-Leek Soup

Potato-Leek Soup

This soup was very good. It needed to be a little more spiced up so I added 1/8 tsp. cayenne, 1/2 tsp. dry mustard and 1 tsp. of thyme. I let the soup sit for an hour before I added 4 slices of cooked/crumbled bacon and the yogurt. Then I heated it back up (not to boiling) but almost and it was delicious ... Thank you Jsumme for the recipe ... my husband absolutely loved it!

BBQ Rosemary Potatoes

Made these last night to accompany a beef tenderloin which was done on a charcoal grill. They were delicious and I used whole tiny new potatoes ... boiled them for about 6 minutes, then I let them marinade for about 5 hours, then skewered them and grilled them for about 15 minutes.
