I have made a different version of this. I add chopped steamed carrots, diced cooked potatoes and frozen peas instead. From experience.. 1 can of soup is not enough for a 9x13 casserole as it was dry. I love thisrecipe.
Absolutely the best I have made. I used the thighs. I'm limited on time so I made it in steps. Day 1..boiled the chicken and deboned, separated broth. Day 2..defatted broth and added veggies to simmer, Day 3..finished up Down right comfort food! Thank for sharing :.)
