I really started cooking when my mom "forced" me to make daily dinners during the summer between high school and college (4 yrs ago). She claims that it was to help me survive on my own but little did she know that it would fuel my passion for cooking! I've been writing down recipes that I've tried and loved since then. Included in the recipe book are recipes passed down from my Grandmother (who was known as a great cook in her home country) to my father. I've also made it a point to write down what my mother makes since she makes the traditional Burmese/Chinese cuisine. 

I really have no preference in my cooking choice.  I'll try to cook anything. Ther harder/more complicated it is, the more I'll attempt to make it.
