I wish there was a recipe for a 9 inch spring form pan. I downsized the ingredients accordingly, but I don't think it was the best that way. It was good, but not great. I wasn't sure about the cooking time, etc… If I find a 12" pan, I'll try it again. 10/10/2012

This is a very labor intensive recipe and the preparation is not written well, BUT these taste soooooo good and are authentic tasting, just like you would get at a Russian deli. I added hard boiled egg (chopped up) to the meet mixture and it was very good. My Russian grandma made it that way. Make the dough about 1/8" thick when rolling out, because it's too doughy after it's cooked, if it's thicker. I will definitely make this again. 5/9/2011
