What's for dinner?
Cauliflower with Ground Beef
I live on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I love crafting, reading, word puzzles, fly tying, cooking, camping, my kids, my hubby. Am just learning to fly fish. I generally use recipes as guidelines --am kown for adding my own touch to recipes and I do so fairly successfully. Both my kids (25 & 22) have picked this up from me and are fairly decent cooks too! I am definitly someone who lives to eat rather than someone who eats only to live! I love food! I love the smells, textures, and savour the results when making something.

Recipes I've Posted (all 3)

Oh I love food --pasta, homemade burgers, steak & mushrooms, roast vegetables, turkey dinner, home baked cookies, cheesecake, stuffed pasta shells --there's that pasta again. So if I had to pick I'd say pasta is my fav ---spaghetti, lasagna, mac & cheese, --all shapes, sizes and varying sauces and fillings ---pasta is comfort food to me!

Grinding the tapioca just makes for a smoother texture -- tapioca flour could be substituted. Other apples types could be used, just modify the amount of Splenda used to adjust sweetness level. Can use filling in Crisps or other fruit filled desserts. [I posted this recipe.]

Cauliflower with Ground Beef

I used ground mild italian sausage meat and added 1 stick celery, 1 tomato diced, 1/2 bell pepper diced -- prep time & cook time right on -- easy, quick supper that would appeal to a lot of tastes -- could add to a chinese meal or add shredded cabbage and expand the quantity! Give it a try & give it your own twist. If I were to use unseasoned meat I would add more seasonings to the sauce!

Attach a Recipe (just type the title)
lol --kids were in Scouts so that accounts for the cooking for large numbers and the rest I've just picked up over the years!
