My husband and I are on our motorcycles pretty much every weekend in the summer so easy and quick meals are very important to me.  I'm amazed at how ingenious people are when it comes to meal planning and coming up with new shortcuts to make cooking more efficient.  Plus my kids are grown and moved out so I don't have to worry about "picky" eaters anymore. 

I absolutely love Mexican and Italian food.  And my favorite way to cook is with my crockpots.  There have been days when I will have three crockpots going at once (I need a fourth) and since they came up with the crockpot liners, I am in heaven.  Anytime I can just throw a bunch of ingredients together in one pot, turn it on and walk out the door makes me happy.  Now if only a crockpot could make mashed potatoes...
