Oh oh oh this is THE best chocolate cake I have ever had. Oodles of work, but worth it. I recommend doing it over two days. Bake the cakes, then do the rest the second day. Most important: let those layers cool COMPLETELY before you add the whipped cream filling or it will just melt into nothing on the cake. Chill the filling well before spreading it, for the same reason. Careful, it will become a heavily requested item! Great for giving a loving gift to the chocoholic who has everything.
