What's for dinner?
honey teriyaki chicken with mashed potatoes

I was born and raised in Texas, so I'm a true southern belle! ha! I love to cook all the time...I wish I had a family to cook for, but hopefully someday soon! As for now I cook for me, my boyfriend, sometimes for our friends or my older brother! I don't really recall ever helping my mom cook, which I do regret because she is a WONDERFUL cook. Now I call her for cooking questions and she loves it! One thing I've yet to tackle that she makes from scratch is Spaghetti....it is sooooo delicious!

Recipes I've Posted (all 1)

PICKLES, cheese and crackers, peanuts. I usually cook chicken or beef because my boyfriend nor I like any seafood. I do love Mexican food, but I'd probably have to say my favorite is Italian...I just LOVE pasta! I do like to try different things because you never know until you try!

Baked Creamy Chicken Taquitos

Baked Creamy Chicken Taquitos

I've made these many times! I usually do a combo of corn and flour tortillas. Although over time I've come to prefer the flour over corn, but either way is delicious! Thanks for a wonderful recipe :)

Bourbon Chicken

Bourbon Chicken

This is VERY delicious&super easy! Only thing I did was add cornstarch mixed with a little cold water to make the sauce a little thicker! Served it with fried rice! This will definitely be in my dinner rotation! Thanks!

Stove Top Barbecue Chicken

Stove Top Barbecue Chicken

This was really good! I did what some others did&cut the boneless chicken breasts into nuggets. Only thing I have a problem with is my breading became soggy&I'm not sure how to fix that?. Other than that it was overall delicious!!!

Mexican Cornbread Casserole

Mexican Cornbread Casserole

Pretty good! A little too much corn bread because I could barely taste the meat mixture. I think 1 box of cornbread mix would be too little&2 is too much. I added kidney beans&picante sauce into meat mixture along with the green chiles! only thing is I wish it was a little bit spicier! Served with sour cream&extra picante sauce!

Mexican Stuffed Jumbo Pasta Shells

Mexican Stuffed Jumbo Pasta Shells

This was ok. A little too much cumin for my liking and it would probably be better with Pace picante sauce or thick n chunky in place of tomato sauce. I will try it one more time with my changes and maybe I'll like it better!

Bryan's Mexican Casserole

Bryan's Mexican Casserole

Made recipe as stated, except used only 1lb. ground beef®ular long grain white rice. It is VERY good and will definitely become a weekly rotation! Next time I'm going to try Ranch Style Beans w/jalapeƱo's to kick up the spice a bit!

Apples with Vanilla-Peanut Butter Dip

Apples with Vanilla-Peanut Butter Dip

The combination on this is sooo delicious! I eat spoonfuls of peanut butter so to add some vanilla yogurt is so delicious! I dipped granny smith apples in it and I'd almost rather just eat it like I was eating yogurt it's so good!!!
