Why do I need to register?

BigOven is more than just recipe software -- it's a community.   Once we've validated your email address, you can post new recipes, submit recipe photos, comment on other recipes -- even revise or improve upon ones that others have posted.  Having a shared recipe archive with ratings and comments from others around the world is both fun and useful.  So we need a relatively easy way to help reduce the chances of a few people ruining it for many.

Registering for access to the BigOven archive is free (it's unrelated to the purchase of BigOven for Windows), it's a one-time process, and it's quick. 

If that doesn't work for you, well, we're sorry to see you go.  We do not disclose your email address to anyone.  Period.  You can subscribe or unsubscribe from any email contact by us at any time.  We do not sell or license or reveal your email address to third parties.  For more details, read our Privacy Policy.
