I am a 57-year old grad student.  I just finished my Bachelor's program two months ago and started at Capella University on August 6 getting my Master's in Human Services-Mental Health Counseling.  I am a late bloomer, having started back to college 3 1/2 years ago.  I can't even quite believe I've come this far, having been a class underachiever most of my life.  Not only that, but my grade point is 3.94; we'll see whether it remains that high in grad school.  I am a real believer that just because the body ages does not mean that a person can't go on to achieve and to contribute.  I hope that the last years of my life will be the best years of my life!

 

I have 3 grown daughters, Marcella (32), Ouida (27) and Melanie (22).  I have one granddaughter, Ashley (15).  I am married to Craig.  Right now, I will be pounding the pavement looking for employment after not having worked outside the home for over 10 years...wish me luck!

 

I AM GOING TO BE A GRANDMA!!!!!  OUIDA IS GOING TO HAVE A BABY, PROBABLY IN ABOUT 8 MONTHS.:)

I love spicy foods...the hotter the better!  I make a mean pot of Texas chili that'll melt your socks off.  My favorite dishes are Italian or Mexican.
