Hi Cheryl, thanks for the welcome. I will be posting a few recipes soon. I have been so bussssy....!!! I am a paralegal and it seems since the heart attack, hmmm now almost two years ago I have the energy to go to work in the morning, come home, cook dinner (if I haven't already started it in the crockpot! - I do love my crockpot-working woman's best friend!!), wash up and a couple of chores and I am done....done... done! I read my email, look online at Facebook a couple of times a week, between looking up recipes. I am diabetic and always looking for new ways to cook things lighter and more flavorful.

Hi Cheryl.... thanks so much for the kind welcome, you seem like a very warm and interesting lady. Looking up recipes seems to be my hobby at the present time and I'm sure by the sounds of it, this site is the best.

those bloody shrimps have got a lot to answer for!!! that should be the first recipe I post: how to chuck a clichè on the barbie! hahaha.

hey cheryl, thanks for the welcome. I am in the process of adding my grandmothers recipes and i'll chuck a few of my own in there too (including a stir fry i call The Afterburner...though true be told I don't know whether the after-burning is referring to throat or something worse!!!). anyway, I'm looking forward to cooking / learning to cook all these brilliant members faves etc. cya

Oh my God! This Big Oven site is addicting. I've been on my computer looking at recipes for 4 hours. CCheryl, your recipe and picture looks great, thank you for your reply
