About me

Remember, its not always about Me! (Note to self)

I live in the Palm Springs Ca area, I love to cook, did i mention, i love to cook? when im not cooking im reading recipes, or playin guitar with my seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeester. Ok, People always say, whats this Seeeester, Well a few years back my sis and i had a Mexican restaurant in Florida, so we call each other "Seeeeeesters".  Im always busy doing something creative, except when im stuck playin Farkle, its so addicting,  but cooking is my therapy! Please dont take my Oven Away! (Big Oven that is!) Big oven is the best cooking site and software out there.  Thanks Steve!

My Favorite Foods

Food is my favorite food, then Red Wine, is that a Food? I really love mexican food the most.  cooking for my sweety is fun, because he really appreciates it,and tells me how good it is, every friday we do Surf and Turf, its his favorite nite.  Italian food is a close runner up with Chinese Food comin in at third place on my favs. but really i like all food, wish i could bake more but when its 111 degrees out side, the oven is not my friend!

Thank you :) I'm going to try and get my mother to divulge some of her infamous creations, too...

I updated the waffle recipe so that the measurements make more sense.

Thanks for the medal, we had the jerk chicken last night and it absolutely rocked. Tonight I am making Thai curry shrimp or something like that. I will see once I get it done and then name it.

Hey CCheryl, you have some nice recipes, just posted my first one "Ray's Cool Jamaican Jerk Chicken." Totally revamped a recipe here and it turned out great. Check it out and also check out my website, think you will like it. We both like helping people learn what the bible really teaches.

Hi Cheryl, thanks for the welcome. I will be posting a few recipes soon. I have been so bussssy....!!! I am a paralegal and it seems since the heart attack, hmmm now almost two years ago I have the energy to go to work in the morning, come home, cook dinner (if I haven't already started it in the crockpot! - I do love my crockpot-working woman's best friend!!), wash up and a couple of chores and I am done....done... done! I read my email, look online at Facebook a couple of times a week, between looking up recipes. I am diabetic and always looking for new ways to cook things lighter and more flavorful.

I like your new picture. By the way, I'm back...

thanks for the medal you sweet thing you!

Hi, Cheryl..thanks for the welcome! I'll be checking out the site more in the future....have to learn how to navigate here.

Hope to talk to you later!

thank you darling, you taught me to make them, you get all the credit. 4 stars for my seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeester!!

Hi Cheryl.... thanks so much for the kind welcome, you seem like a very warm and interesting lady. Looking up recipes seems to be my hobby at the present time and I'm sure by the sounds of it, this site is the best.
