About me
My name is Laura and I live right outside of New Orleans. I love to bake, but found cook a chore most of the time. I am just not that great of a cook so I don't found much joy in it. Don't get me wrong sometimes I get a wild hair and enjoy myself and make something really good but those days are to far and few for me or my family, well at least for me they haven't said anything yet. I am sure they wouldn't mind having better food hitting the table though. ;)
Food is so good here in New Orleans, so when I cook at home I feel very disappointed. I am hoping y'all can help me change all that. Come on now drag out those magic wands, please. ha ha
I like to save money it's a hobby of mine I get sick if I have to pay full price for anything it's that bad. I am really into saving.

My Favorite Foods
I LOVE Crawfish Monica at the Jazz Fest. It's April and I am already starting to have cravings I can hardly wait for the end of the month to get here. Plus James Taylor will be here this month it can't get any better then that!
My favorite thing to cook is Baking. I love baking cookies, candy, fudge and all kinds of goodies at Christmas. It's so fun and everybody LOVES my baking so it makes me very happy.
