About Me
My name is Tony and I love to cook, bake, can, and garden. I am retired military (USAF) and have had the privilege to travel around the world and experience many different cuisines, which I think further developed my love the kitchen. My wife and I come from a southern background, so our cooking has a down home appeal to it. We both enjoy putting up jellies and jams, and baking, especially during the holidays. My mother who was from Belgium, didn't know how to cook when she came to the states in the Mid-50's. Over the years she really learned how to cook and had some wonderful recipes. You'll know her recipes when the source says Jeannine Creel's Green Cookbook. Not sure where she got them at but you can bet they are winners!
Some of my favorite foods
I haven't found any food that I really dislike. I like to try a little of everything. If I have to choose favorites then that would be, BBQ'd anything, Middle Eastern, and Asian/Indian. I loves soups and stews.
