About me
I love to travel and do it often so I'm always trying new food or restaurants wherever I go. I've lived all across Canada but was born in Newfoundland. I left when I was a baby but moved back in the summer to buy a house and have been here for a year. I'm planning on moving to California soon though. Other than cooking I love music and love to dance. It's a huge passion of mine! I love entertaining from home as well. I used to work as an event planner and entertainment consultant so I tend to have a lot of unique ideas and throw some pretty fun parties to get my friends together :) If not for my piercings and tattoos, I'm just you're average, fun-loving gal!
My Favorite Foods
Being from Newfoundland I love to make traditional Newfoundland dishes or try new ones that have been in my family or heritage for a long time - at least for the tradition if not for the taste :)
Chinese Dumplings are probably my fave food of all time. I love trying new foods and eat everything except seafood. I don't think I'm allergic to it, but it never goes down no matter what I eat or how it's cooked. I travel a lot so I've had the opportunity to eat many different and unique foods from around the globe including crocodile, impala, buffallo, just to name a few.
I dont like SUPER spicy but I do love mexican and indian foods that have a bit of a bite to them. Thai, chinese, mexican and italian are probably my favorite cuisines. I love cooking at home and trying new recipes. Since I'm single and live alone I usually opt for the quick meal ideas but love to entertain from home....when I do I spend more time in the kitchen preparing. Experamenting with new ideas of my own or making variations of tried and true recipes is fun.
