About me
I now live in Israel after emigrating from South Africa in 1992 and work as the executive chef of a 4*hotel combining the 215 room hotel together with a gourmet restaurant based on Middle Eastern/Bistro/Grill concept which is very well patronized by both locals and celebrities from far and wide, local and overseas.
My favourite past-time (when given the opportunity)is chilling out fishing-even just catching the air is therapeutic and my natural calmer.
For fun? I TRY to teach a large number of culinary students of all levels
the rudiments of the profession and most importantly how to approach and take care of guests' needs and peculiarities
I also lecture at the culinary college in the field of Food&Beverage management
Favourite spices? Course sea salt, dried cilantro seeds and garlic
My Favorite Foods
I personally enjoy a plain grilled aged-entrecote steak, using only course sea salt as "spice"
Memories of special ocassions: I have had the honour of preparing and serving dishes to a vast number of luminaries from all over the world, including the then president of the former Soviet Union,Arch Bishop Tutu,Julio Inglesias,Dr Ruth, and the list goes on.
