About me

I enjoy cooking, why else would I be here! I was transplanted from the Mid-South to the Northeast and moved back and forth several times before being firmly attached to New England. My roots are in Eastern Carolina Eastern Style BBQ and the various forms of Southern food from collards to hush puppies. However, my taste is more closely associated with French and Italian foods. I grow and use herbs extensively. I also collect wild mushrooms.

Some food items that my wife and I prepare are Pesto, Escargot, Ossco Buco, Roasted Aspargarus  and the Best Red Sauce that will cross your lips. I'm a trout fisherman and gardener. We sometimes have trouble finding good resturants because we have become food snobs. (We cook too much ) I don't know how that has happened. We love chile dogs, local pubs and a few high end resturants in Boston, so that is a little weird. Some of the best meals we have had came from our own kitchen.
