About me

I live in New England with our large family. I love cooking for diverse groups of eaters. Most of my recipes have been altered with an eye to healthier ingredients and seasonal produce. All of the recipes that I post have been tested at least a dozen times prior to posting. I have worked as a line chef at saute, grill and fry stations.

I also edit a blog www.mobilemambo.com dedicated to making technology creative, fun and easy.

My Favorite Foods

Italian American, Polish, Jewish and Southwestern are all favorites of mine. I also love spicy Carribean dishes as well as Guatemalan foods.

Holidays are my biggest time for trying new recipes in preparation for the family meals. I love to create new traditions with foods like cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning, Challah bread on chilly autumn Fridays, herbed butter to brown the turkey and many more.

Just saw your Santa Soup, it looks really good and kind of a spin off of Italian Wedding soup. I have added it to my MUST TRY list. I just posted my Ray's Tons "O" Mushroom Soup, like your Santa Soup, it is good when it is cold outside. Looking over your other recipes too.. they look good.

Thank you for the medal on my bread cones. I am glad you like it. This recipe is more of a bread recipe than a pastry. So, I am not sure how it would go with a mousse/pudding filling. But, if you try it, let me know how it comes out. I know you can do a similar recipe using puff pastry. Anyway, I am glad you like it. We sure do!
