About me
Though there are just 2 of us left in the house (all kids are now gone), I still love to cook and bake and have found Big Oven to be a real boon when I'm low on ideas or can't find a recipe. We are both retired and I have a serious heart condition so I watch what I cook and what we eat. We have a small veggie garden and use the fresh veggies whenever we can. Hubby loves to fish and talk about NASCAR and trucks/cars in general. I am a clothing designer (still am) so I have a large workroom where I spend a great deal of my time, with 5 daughters I have too!
My Favorite Foods
I love chicken and most fish. I also love all seafood but can't get the abalone steaks I grew up on anymore as I no longer live in CA. Hubby is a died in the wool steak fanatic but I try to do it stir fried unless he wants to BBQ for health reason
