About me

Hi There!

How does a once dedicated raw fooder end up on a site called Big Oven? Its because of the recipe creator of course. I just enter my recipes from books and my imagination and then I know the exact nutritional content.  I have found much to my horror that eating nothing but uncooked foods can be a little unballancing and worse still, it can bring out a lot of fanatical responses. So now I am looking to balance my eating with some cooked foods. What better place to look than Big Oven?

My Favorite Foods

Watermelons, mushrooms, avocados, salads are my favourite foods. I love foods with lots of colour and goodness. I like recipes that start with just the raw ingredients and not with packaged materials. In this way I can control the ingredients and avoid chemicals.

Gourdian Angel Soup, Country Apples and Bill's Peanut Butter, Choc Chip Cookies were the recipes I tried. I also cooked a savoury impossible Pie for my sister. She gave that one a big thumbs up!

I have several more Try Soon Recipes and I love just browsing the different catagories on Big Oven.
