About me
I am not a certified chef although I have worked in the food business for years. I am known by my family and friends for the seciality recipes I cook. Needless to say I am invited to all "get togethers" because I am such a ggod cook. (Not because everyone enjoys my company.) I absolutely love cooking. Next to gardening and animals these are my 3 passions. I only hope to own (not run since I have done that) a small cafe with my own recipes and southern BBQ and grilled hamburgers and incorporate all my fresh veggies and herbs into the menu. But alas so much for dreams. I am 49 and have worked in restaurants and I ask myself now could I do 150 people anymore. And I answer myself "No". Because i know I and my food would lose it's passion if there were 150 people. My employees I couldn't trust (if I had a crew of 20 or more) to follow my demands of quality and service. So my dream is not to run an upscale restaurant but a small family restaurant where the customer and the food are ##1. Food should be personal and that's the way i want to treat it. Lola Marie

What I enjoy making the most? Grilling, BBQ,(all meats and homemade rubs and sauses) desserts(all kinds) Broccoli and cheese/Beef pot roast/ pecan pies/ Pork roast/ shrimp and lobster/ Omelettes/ (anything with eggs) chocolate cream pies. Veggie casseroles/ cocnut cream pies/ Potato salads/ (potaotes) appetizers....the list goes on. What do you want I can make it and it will be great!
