I've been cooking and baking since I was a young girl ( a long time ago <G>).  Been married to the same man for over 43 years.  We have 3 sons, 2 daughters, 5 grandsons and a few cats.  I am a professional food writer and speaker, have written a food column for a group of local weekly newspapers for over 21 years.  Love to collect cookbooks and food-related books, as well as specialty cake pans, like Bundt pans.

Nothing makes me happier than helping somebody find a recipe they lost or feeding  a lot of folks!

 

Nothing makes me sadder than someone who tells me that they read (and love) my stories but that they don't bother with the recipes because they can't cook.  As my grandmother used to say, ""Can't" simply means "won't"!!!
