About Me

Living in the country offers great rewards!  I have two gardens, which fills the freezer. One for vines and okra, the other for tomatoes, peppers and beans.  I have a small herb garden inside fence in back-yard.

I also have two sons, that hunt and fish.  A neighbor raises hogs.
Much of our meat is earned in full recreational style!

I also make our bread much of the time.  Nothing will satisfy you more than a 'hot' slice of home-made bread and a fresh cup of java.

The best part of my day..sitting early on the back porch, watching the rabbits and deer drinking dew of the leaves, and grass.

My other job...rooting the Angels to victory!

Some of my favorite foods

My favorite meal is pulled pork with coleslaw, and BBQ beans.
Dessert is iced mixed melon balls.

The biggest meal I ever made was for a 150 Firemen and staff at the Firehouse Museum in San Diego. Spaghetti and Meatballs, tossed garden salad and Apple Crisp with Ice Cream..

I love to prepare food.
I love the feel of the different textures and the aromas. The way you take different ingredients, and make meals that are beautiful, pleasing to the eye, smell, that makes your mouth water expectantly..and the smile that comes with the first bite..!
