I live in West Texas. I am a  widow and senior at 67.

Most of my time in the summer is spent out in my yard and garden.  In the winter I do a few 'indoor' things...quilting being my favorite hobby.  I like to make my own 'cards' for all occasions and especially enjoy making Christmas cards. 

I love anything from the Mexican cuisine of Southwestern New Mexico .  Chinese food is also a favorite, but I do not try to make it.  Italian is good, but I don't want it often.  Down home Southern cooking is another favorite of mine.

My special memories are of having Mexican buffet on Christmas Eve with my family.  This started many years ago with my mother.  It has been passed on to my daughters, as well.
