About me
I have always loved to cook and right now my collection is mainly recipes that were my mother's. She was a great collector of recipes and had a knack for finding the best ones. This year for the holidays (2007), I started a cookbook of my mom's recipes to give to my sisters. (My mom passed away from cancer in 1997.)
I love to cook for other people and entertain, but I never seem to have as much time to do that as I would like.
My Favorite Foods
I've rarely met a food I didn't like and I love to cook! (Although I am less enthusiastic about cleaning up from cooking!) I'll never forget that when I was in fourth grade I thought that I would make homemade eclairs for mom on Mother's Day. The kitchen was completely wrecked with flour everywhere. It looked as though a flour bomb had gone off!
