About me
I live in Virginia, on 14 acres. I have an acre vegetable garden. I love to cook, can and preserve everything that comes out of that garden. I make homemade soups, salsa, pizza sauce, Can my own green beans, butter beans, potatoes and tomatoes, jellies,apple and peach pie filling, And make lots of homade bread, cinnamon rolls, and muffins for my family.I really am not such a great recipe giver, because almost everything I make I just throw in. I work full time for the postal service also. So I stay busy. My daughter is is25. She sings worship for our church. She has a wonderful voice. And my son is 20 rides dirtbikes and plays the guitar, and our other son is 18, still in school and at home. Am thankful and blessed .I am getting ready to start my own business with my acre garden and almost 1000 sq. ft. greenhouse.My husband is an electrician. He is retiring next year. My Favorite Foods
I love pizza (we don't have pizza delivery here so I make my own crust and sauce). I also love anything on the grill. We eat a lot of chicken. There are so many different ways to cook it. that is why I love BigOven, I can just pull up a recipe and try it. Thanks for that. I also love fajitas. Chicken ones. Yum Yum! I bake a lot but don't eat too much of it. Only the yeast breads that come out of the oven hot, and I can't resist spreading a little butter (real butter) on. Nothing like that taste. My husband loves all the sweet stuff.
