About Me

I'm first and foremost a Christian, seeking to know the Lord and make Him known. Secondly, I'm a wife to a wonderful husband, and next I'm a homeschool mother of 3 beautiful daughters. I'm also desperately learning how to manage my home...in every area. I love to bake, and I love finding recipes that are healthy for my picky eaters. I'm looking forward to making my life simpler with this recipe program. I grew up in Cajun culture in a small town in Louisiana, though I'm still learning how to cook cajun foods (I do better at eating!) My favorite pasttime is planning parties...this love has surfaced through the many birthday parties I find myself planning each year. I really have as much fun as the children. Baking the cake has brought out my creative side, and I equally enjoy that part. (If I ever get a digital camera, I'll post pics.) Another thing I love is dancing. My husband and I have just started Cajun dancing together, and I'm thrilled.

Some of my favorite foods 

I love eating Cajun foods (gumbo, crawfish/shrimp etouffee served on fish or steak, jambalaya, sauce piquante, etc.). I also love eating dessert...anything with chocolate is a sure hit with me!
