About me

I'm 32, live in Newcastle, am married and have 1.5 kids.

I used to be a short order chef but now I am a desk monkey for the civil service. Before pregnancy I was very much a social bunny, spending many a night dancing until the early hours. Now my pleasures are cooking for my family and buying reusable nappies :).

If I wasn't a pod person I would love to be travelling, preferably somewhere hot. I like reading books, watching movies and using various online social networks. My favourite meals to cook are a full Sunday lunch, lasagne, risotto and burrito's (San Francisco style).

My Favorite Foods

Mexican- Burrito's, quesodilla's, huevos rancheros.

Classic french- Beef bourguignon, cassoulet, bouillabaisse.

Spanish- spanish tortilla, artichokes with ham, patatas bravas,octopus.

Chinese (cantonese, peking)- singapore style vermicelli, deep fried beef in peeking sauce, young chow chow mein.

 Malaysian street hawker food- just got to go out and try it. there was some amazing blue rice and meat in Kota Baru and the mee in Kuala Lumpar is astounding.

Japanese- Ramen, eel bento box, katsu curry, teryaki chicken, wasabi seaweed, edamame beans, miso soup, soft shell crab hand rolls, gyoza.

English- mince and dumplings, fisha nd chips, lamb hot pot.

Italian- Pizza, pasta (carbonara, pesto, squid ink), mussels, foccacia, ciabatta, salsice contadina.
