About me
Work in the metal fabricating business. Drag racing is a hobby of my significant other & mine. Cook a lot at the race track for large groups so I have learned to adapt a lot of my recipes to the grill. Cooking has always been a favorite past time & thought once I might pursue it as a business, but that never worked out so I cook simply for enjoyment. Very interested in healthy recipes. Seafood & vegetables especially.
We live in the Detroit, MI area. Pretty depressed at this time, but hoping for a come back for the auto industry.
My only son is in the wine business in the Napa area so I learn about food & wine from him & visit when I can.
My Favorite Foods
Definitely fish & shellfish are my favorites.
Memories of food are mostly from past holidays. Love all the traditional dishes we make sometimes only once a year.
Grew up in Texas so my son still request chicken-fried steak, yeast rolls & banana pudding.
Home-made fried pies make me think of my Mom.
