About Me I am a chef working for a very popular restaurant here in Virginia. Right now I am in the process of writing a cookbook focusing on healthy, nutritious foods that are easy for the home cook to prepare. Each recipe will include nutritional data and categorized allowing for easy identification for dietary concerns and requirements such as diabetes, low sodium, low cholesterol etc.. Some of my favorite foods Italian (Tuscan), Traditional Mexican (not the Americanized Mexican). I grew up learning to cook from the mexican workers on my grandparents farm (they did not speak any english, so I got my knuckles whacked quite a few times for doing something wrong and trying to cut corners). I try to use local, fresh ingredients. The best secret ingredient is LOVE. I enjoy preparing the food then watching the plates come back clean. That really puts a smile in my heart. About Me
