About me

I have been a Midwest gal for about 18 years, love to cook, play golf, stay active in my church and volunteer in the community and chair the High School Post Prom Food Committee.  I love reading on cold winter days, but favorite past time is going thru cook books and trying out new recipes.  I am the mother of 5, and grandmother of 2 beautiful little girls.  I work full time in sales and love being on the go.  

My Favorite Foods

My mother is from New Mexico, so I love cooking Mexican and have a website where I order my red chili powder and Hatch green chili year round.  My family loves all kinds of cuisines so we cook a lot of Italian, Japanese and Chinese foods.  Family favs-beef and chicken enchiladas, chicken picata, italian spicy meatloaf, beef or chicken fajitas, chicken/pork or beef stir fry, deep fried chicken fingers, 3 cheese potato casserole, 7 cheese lasagna, Super Bowl Chili and the list goes on and on...

i used to live in Las Cruces new mexico, loved it there, i would always buy a 40 lb bag of green chiles at the grocery store and they would roast them for you right there, boy do i miss that, ya they were the Hatch green chiles, i remember when you went to a restaruant there they would ask you, would you like red or green chile with that order, usually enchiladas. just thought id share that tidbit with ya,
