About me
I live in Middle Tennessee and enjoy hunting, fishing, camping & dutch oven cooking and we enjoy our horses. The Lord has blessed my wife and I with a small farm and we just enjoy working on the land and being outside. And of coarse we love cooking (&eating) good food!
My Favorite Foods
I love cooking outdoors, open fire cooking is hard to beat and a good marbled beef steak & baked potatoe cooked over wood coals and a peach cobbler cooked in a dutch oven for desert would have to rank up near the top for me. Both are simple but sometimes simple is good.
Winning two small local dutch oven cook offs has been a memory that comes to mind. Only won a ribbon in one contest and the other I won a 12" lodge dutch oven. But more so than the prizes was the feeling you get when someone eats your cooking and says its good or the best.
