About me
Currently living in Mobile, AL. Was sent here by Hurricane Ike. I had a bar & grill in Seabrook, TX that was wiped out. Working on opening another somewhere along the coast....call me a glutten for punishment! I love the beach and spending time with my family. Cooking has been my outlet - when I need time alone, when I need to express my love for my family, to while away the time, to satisfy a craving, and of course....to survive. LOL
My Favorite Foods
I enjoy desert the most. My favorite is a couple of generational family favorites (cherry crunch, Black Walnut cake). I have this incredible love affair with lemons!!! Lemon cookies, lemon cake, lemon cupcakes, lemon, lemon, lemon. I even clean my George Foreman with lemon!!! LOL
Nothing beats the grill ! Grilled shrimp on the bar-b anyone? MMmmMM! And of course a great citrus marinated NY strip. Geezz....who needs summer when you have a great grill and an umbrella?? LOL
My all time shellfish favorite....is steamed crabs and boiled mudbugs!!! (Crawfish to all y'all land lubbers) I have tweaked and mastered the best recipe. I even have my homemade spice made up at a local spice factory.
