About me
Hello, Im 39 years old. I have been cooking since I was about 11. I went to a two year culinary arts school. During that time I won one award. I was: Second place at state for my mexican salad. I have two kids. My son is 20 and my girl is 13. They are my world. They never complain about eating my different creations. lol There are no picky eaters in my house. HaHa :) I drive a school bus and love it. My family likes to go camping. This is when I get my son to cook :) He is an Eagle scout so hes had many years of campfire cooking.:) As for my daughter she don't cook. She will help me for about 5 minutes then shes bored. haha. Cooking for my friends, it puts a smile on my face, because is not their regular meals. I also make cakes. Its a hobbie. Ive been making them for 15 years. I do it mainly for my friends. Ive only sold one. The wedding cake in my pic. They tell me what they want, I give them a list of stuff to buy and I make it. 
What a deal. :) Well thats all I can think of for now!
My Favorite Foods
There is not one dish I make the most. I never make anything the same. I collect cookbooks, cooking magazines, print recipes off the net and any place else I can find them. I also never follow a recipe. I look at the ingrediance and for the most part it sticks in my head. haha When I bake, thats when I follow the directions (for the most part. haha) My best memories are, baking Sugar cookies with my sister out of my moms Betty Crocker cookbook. She got that book as a weddding gift in 1965 and today we can't find it. so yeah i've been serching for one to add it to my collection. My other one is making Goulash. My mom worked three jobs (singel mom) so my sister and I would have dinner ready for her when she got home. Goulash was the easist for us to make. One more memory I want to share. The first time I made mac and cheese from the box. It was before school and I didnt want cereal so I boiled the noodles when I thought they were done I drained them and added the cheese packet, butter, and milk. Well the noodles crunchy and the sauce was soupy. haha I didnt follow the directions on the box, I tried to remember what my mom did.:) I ate it anyways!
