About me
I have always loved cooking, its something that my whole family enjoys. I am particularly fond of baking because I have a serious sweet tooth. When we first got married I taught my husband the basics of cooking then he went to a La Cordon Blue certified school and is classically French trained. He teaches me stuff now. I also am a huge sucker for cookbooks. I love books in general and work at a Barnes and Noble bookstore and put my employee discount to very good use in adding to my collection of well over 100 cookbooks.
My Favorite Foods
I have a sweet tooth and love to bake. I also love Japanese food and Asian food in general. I lived in Japan for a year when I was a teenager and am working on moving back there for a couple of years and I love the whole culture that they have around their food; simplicity, goodness, fresh ingredients, variety, and home cooking. My husband loves wines, particularly Italian wines.
