I live in Tupelo Oklahoma. I enjoy trying new recipes, canning and preserving, embroidery, reading, and spending alone time with my favorite bood (my bible).  I am disabled and my faborite pass time is spending time fishing with my husband and children ( for which I have 7; six already grown and married with families of their own and a 9 year old boy at home).

I enjoy eating a variety of different foods.  I enjoy making soft shell taco's the most.  What really got me into cooking was when I realized that while I was baking cookies that my children would come into the kitchen and ask mom advice about their different problems; that situation seemed to make them feel more open and comfortable.  With my boys they would ask advice about their girlfriends; and with the girls it was mainly what I thought about their lipstick and nail polish colors; or when we could go on another shopping trip and what they would like to try to find.
