About Me Hi, my name is Dorothy, but everyone calls me Dot. I live in Greensboro,NC I'm recovering from shoulder surgery. I'm very bored at home so I just starting looking up different recipes online to try. For fun my husband and I would go fishing but I can't do that just yet so we go for walks in the park and enjoy our grandchildren. I used to be a school bus driver for special needs children but because of my shoulder injury I'm a housewife now. Some of my favorite foods I love pasta... But the dish I like making most, actually there are a few I like to make, but the one I would have to say is chicken or turkey pot pie. My mom has taught me alot about cooking and especially making jams,jellies,and preserves. I used to watch her cook all the time and when I got married my mother-in-law showed me some things also. I had slowed down cooking some because of ethwork but since I'm at home now I'm getting back into the swing of things. I mostly like to bake.
