About me
I manage the Information Technology department for a healthcare group in Houston, Texas.
When not working, I like to read, snow-ski, golf, research family history, travel, tinker and build in my garage workshop, photograph the times of our lives, and, of course, cook & eat -- so much to see and do, and so little time!
When time permits, my wife and I like surprising our friends and family with new tastes and variations on the old stand-bys.
My Favorite Foods
I have to say that I really like all foods, from down-home cooking to sushi, from pub grub to French to Thai, from simple soups to decadent desserts. That being said, I'm the chief cook for a BBQ Cookoff team and enjoy Chili and Gumbo cookoffs as well -- obviously I'm partial to BBQ, Southwestern, and Cajun fare. I love the flavor that chiles add to foods, so anything complex and spicy is wonderful.
