About me
I live in Greenwood, SC. For fun I like to go to the beach, mountains, watch "good" movies,drink wine, visit wineries,try different restaurants,hike (easy trails ) and go on picnics. My favorite pastimes include reading,cooking,and putting puzzles together if I can find the time. I am a Radiologic Technologist and Certified Medical Assistant. I have three beautiful children and wonderful husband. My favorite place to be is home, with a glass of wine and a good book.
My Favorite Foods
I would have to say comfort foods. I love soups/stews,casseroles,crock pot dishes etc...however I am currently trying to Somersize. I grill a lot of chicken/hamburger and have fresh vegetables with it or salads. One of my favorite things to have is boiled shrimp with cocktail sauce and a tall, cold Bloody Mary! It doesn't get much better than that for me! My memories of cooking in my family are wonderful. My mother and both of my grandmothers are and were great cooks! One of my favorite memories growing up is Thanksgiving. As a child we would go to my grandmothers house and the minute we walked in the smells just hit you and went all through the house. I can still put myself there today. It is a wonderful memory.
