About me
I am a Mom and a Medical Lab Professional. I love to cook for my family. I have two girls one in college (that's her beautiful face in the pic with me), my other beautiful daughter is in high school. We love trying new things. The girls are a bit picky but as they get older their taste buds do too. I am so excited to find this web site so we can expand our cooking adventures. My hubby will love the new stuff I know! 
We like simple easy and inexpensive recipes (cause mom works a lot) but are excited to expand our horizons. So here we are BigOven, show us what ya got!
My Favorite Foods
We cook very southern on our house. Collard/turnip greens, mac and cheese, etc. The girls favorite is my mac and cheese. If I make that there is never extra. I also love to bake although our favorite sweet requires no baking. They're called crunchy fudge sandwiches, mmm mmm, they are delicious! Another couple of our fav's is my chocolate turtle cake and my white chocolate pound cake, my hubby loves the pound cake!! My oldest daughter is now stuck on the food shows. Always seeing something she wants us to try or experiment with. I think my hubby is the pickiest of all though. He claims he wants something different but keeps falling back on good ole fried chicken. Maybe just maybe I'll get lucky and find some new fav's here.
