I was born in Guatemala, Central America, but I was raised in Los Angeles, CA. I am an American Girl with a Latin soul and my favorite recipes reflect that mix of cultures.

 

My ambition is to write a cookbook with a collection of recipes handed down by my mother, but with a quick-fix spin. I have already started writing it. Perhaps some day you may want to buy it?

I remember coming home from school at the age of 9 or 10, having to call my mother at work to get the menu for that evening's dinner. She would tell me what to make, and if I needed it, instructions on how to make it. That's how my mother taught me to cook. I didn't care for it then, but I do love it now! I learned from the best cook and baker I ever knew personally. Thanks mom!
